Your hosts Sue and Martin Alemann live at the Manor and have a passion for travel, fun experiences, anything that involves food or wine and meeting new people. Hosting visitors like you is the perfect match for those passions.
Stay in our stylish cottages, relax by the lovely heated pool and enjoy the extensive gardens of the Manor House. With easy access to castles, markets, great restaurants and wineries, Bumblebee Manor is perfectly situated for a wonderful self-catering holiday in the Loire Valley, France. Fully equipped kitchen, dining and lounge are on the ground floor, and the bedroom with queen/king bed (can convert to singles) is upstairs. The original beams and stonework are beautifully complemented by modern windows and skylights for a cozy, yet light and airy feel. The cottages open onto a delightful courtyard, with a palm tree for shade, a charming fountain and seating. Flowers and herbs are grown in pots for you to enjoy. Each gite has an exclusive screened area within the courtyard, furnished with a table, chairs and parasol for alfresco dining. It's perfect for the long lazy lunches as loved by the French or for enjoying a glass or two of the fabulous Loire Valley wines. External lighting also makes the courtyard a lovely setting in the evenings too.
Perfect for couples wanting a romantic getaway or for groups of friends and family wanting a shared vacation. Groups renting 3 or more gites have access to the manor house terrace with its alfresco dining and lounge areas, the best of both worlds as each couple have their own self-catering space but the group has a place to gather for dining and socializing.
